'Craftwerk'
exhibition soundtrack 1996

'Objects of our Time' exhibition designed by the Urban Salon at the Crafts Council, London.
The exhibition showed work of up and coming craft based artists from the UK.
This was my first soundtrack commission, which I called 'Craftwerk':
Behind each large scale photo of the exhibitors were a set of 4 continuous tape players.
These intermittently played short collages of sounds related to the Craft processes,
the people and the environments that produced the work in the show.
Kind of like scanning through the workshops of Britian.
The show toured around the world.
