"Neighbours"
1st prize photograph 1991

A photographic competition held by the Royal Institute of British Architects
on the theme of 'neighbourhood'. This was my flat in Bark Walk, Hulme, Manchester
and my flatmate Paul waving to a neighbour. The photograph was shot live as the
titles from 'Neighbours' rolled on the TV. I received 1st prize.
I didn't know it back then as I wasn't involved in music, but the guys in the next flat
were the band Bark! and Matt Wand from Stock, Hausen & Walkman lived down the
walkway. Via a twist of fate Matt's record label Hot Air was to release my Recorded
Delivery project eight years later. Neighbours Unite!!!
